The television aerial array consists of a number of active aerial elements and a passive aerial element in the form a mettalic grid (2). The active elements (1) are mounted on a support (3). There is a fixing bracket (4) surrounding the aerial array on an aerial mast. The active aerial elements are attached directly to the metallic grid by means of the fixing elements (3). Each active aerial element has its own fixing element. The metallic grid is made with recesses (5) facing the active aerial elements. The fixing elements are made with stops (9) which can clamp on to the metallic grid.
