The mechanism is used for group operation of rows of windows. In front of the window (1) is arranged, close to the upper window frames, a rotating tube (4). The upper window frame has rollers which are guided by the rotating tube using an endless belt. This arrangement opens or closes the tilting windows by the rotation of the tube with the assistance of screw rollers. The rotating tube is supported in several bearings (5) positioned on the wall between the windows.
