<p>Fluid tobe samples is admitted through inlet to collector and overflows through outlet. A gas pulse is admitted to tube (I) to separate the fluid column in a second tube (IIe above the junction point with tube. The gas pulse the sample to reaction chamber. A colorimetric reading is taken. An aliquot of a first reagent is then added to the reaction chamber by using a gas pulse in a similar sample and transport device to the first. Second and further reagents may similarly be supplied. The liq. is agitated by passing gas bubbles through it.
