<p>The cooking appliance uses a hollow rotary cylinder (1) to contain the produce during cooking. Heat may be applied by infra red rays; steam jets; hot air or directly from a live coal hearth. The cylinder may be disposed with the axis of revolution horizontal and controls permit the inclination of the axis as desired. The cylinder ends may terminate in semi-spheres with axial orifices. One of the orifices is provided with a port-hole (7), the other being closed by a support console (22). The cylinder may be mounted on two horizontal axles (4). At least one axle has a motorized (19) pulley wheel and endless belt (5) drive.</p> |
