The frmae is used to support electronic devices such as communications equipment. It consists of an arbitrary number of components of given width. These components comprise metal supports bolted together via several spaced brackets at the rear, and there are top and bottom bolt-on covers. The frame is closed at its outer sides by side walls made of sheet metal. The metal supports may have L or F shaped cross-sections. The advantage lies in simplicity.
