Universal wall skirting board - clamps doubled over wall coating edge between clamping strip and retainer bar

The multi-piece skirting board includes a support bar (3) for the visible wall cladding (5). This has a top edge U-shaped in cross-section with horizontal shank forming the bearing surface for the cladding while the downward facing front shank (1) serves as the wall rendering template. A clamping strip (6) gripping the top edge of the screen (7) is fitted inside the U-section on the front shank (1). The folded edge (9) of a wall coating (8) fitting on the cladding (5) is clamped in place between the outer face (13) of the clamping strip (6) and the inner face of the front shank of the retainer bar. This is equally suitable for use with plasterboard panels or rendering.
