<p>Elongate article is laminated with a web by coating the article and the web separately with urea formaldehyde adhesive, preliminarily drying the adhesive and then bringing the article and web together using heat and pressure. Pref. one of the adhesive contains an accelerating agent and the other contains a hardener, one or the other adhesive being applied to either the article or the web. Appts. has a web supply roll from which the web is fed past an adhesive dispensing device which is followed by a heater, the preliminarily dried web being applied to the article by rollers.</p> |
