Stable switching regulator control for DC source - using switch current sensing and comparison with load voltage to eliminate oscillations

The method is for controlling a switching regulator connected to a d.c. source so as to form a controllable electronic switch with load and is designed to ensure a stable switching regulator characteristic which reduces the likelihood of or completely eliminates oscillations. The current (1s) flowing through the electronic switch (S1) is used as a criterion for control of the load (RL) voltage (U1). The load voltage is compared with a voltage derived from the switch current via a transformer (Tr1) and resistance (R1). The comparator (1C) voltage controls the electronic switch.
