<p>The drawing arrangement which is used for drawing wire, rod or tube, consists of a mounting ring in which a drawing insert is secured. The mounting ring has a ground bore which is slightly conical. The ore reduces in the direction of drawing. The drawing insert is ground on its outer surface and is conical to match the bore in the mounting ring. The mounting ring has threaded counterbores at each end in which ring nuts can be mounted. One ring nut is used to drive the insert into the bore, the other ring nut can be used to release the insert.</p> |
