The tractor front power lift mechanism comprises a frame fixed to the tractor and swung up and down by rams. A tubular body (5) concentric to the pivot axis (4) is fixed between the outer members (1, 2) of the frame, bearings (6) being inserted in both ends of it for a supporting pin (7) passing right through. The outer members each have an attachment (8) for the rams at a point clear of the pivot axis. The design ensures that bending and torsional loads are absorbed by the tubular body.
