<p>The expanding plug is for fixing objects at a distance from one another, e.g. facade support strips in front of a wall. IT has a truncated cone-shaped support section (7) which tapers down to the spacing neck region (6). The support section has a circumferential groove (10) whose side (11) nearest the neck form the back wall against which the rear surface of the facade rests. The other side (14) of the groove slopes outwards conically to the front end of the plug. At least three slits (15) are provided in the support region which accommodates a sleeve insert (22) which is expanded by a screw (21).</p> |
