1527030 Test composition MILES LABORATORIES Inc 6 Sept 1976 [8 Sept 1975] 36888/76 Heading G1B A test composition for detecting peroxidatively active substances comprises an oxidizing agent, an indicator and a potentiating agent which comprises an acid salt or acid adduct of a compound selected from the class of compounds having the Formula: wherein R 1 is hydrogen, lower alkyl, hydroxy or phenylthio, R2 is hydrogen or lower alkyl, R3 is hydrogen or lower alkyl, R4 is hydrogen, carboxy, lower alkyl or lower alkoxy and R 5 is hydrogen or lower alkyl. The potentiating agent may be an acid salt or acid adduct of 6-methoxyquinoline, quinoline, quinoline sulphate, 6- or 7-methylquinoline, or 2,6- and 4,6-dimethylquinoline.
