<p>The liquid distribution valve has a chamber enclosing a rotating closing plate. The latter divides the valve chamber into two or more separated liquid flow chambers in its sealed end positions. This valve has several liquid flow connections which are connected optionally in the several positions of the closing plate. The liquid distributor valve design is relatively simple and it is readily installed, cleaned and maintained. The valve chamber is basically a hollow sphere. Its wall has circumferential seals (13) which meet the outside edges of the closing plate (17) for forming separate liquid flow chambers. The valve chambers are built up of spherical housing segments (11) which have seals along their adjacent end edges which also form circumferential seals (13).</p> |
