<p>Double-walled container is used for cold liqs., e.g. liquefied gases. In order to achieve optimal thermal insulation, the space between the 2 walls is packed with composite material arranged as follows. The inner surface of the outer wall is lined with vapour-proof material e.g. a Cu foil. The inner surface of the inner wall is lined with several gap-less layers of sprayed-on closed-cell polyurethane. The remaining free space is packed with loose, granular material e.g. perlite.</p> |
