PURPOSE: To prevent a base plate from being damaged in setting stones and to strengthen the adhesion between the base plate and the combined stones by attaching a first molten adhesive layer on the stone setting side of the base plate, a gap filling layer to fill gaps in the stones under the first molten adhesive layer, and a second molten adhesive layer, which is substantially plane and is welded on the first molten adhesive layer at the top of the stones, under the gap filling layer. CONSTITUTION: A first molten adhesive layer 3 is to cover stones 1 with their mounting part 14. A combining sheet 24 over the stones 1 consists of a coloring layer 4, a filling layer 5, a second molten adhesive layer 7, a self adhesion layer 9, and a cover layer 20 from the stones 1 upward. The filling layer 5 is made of foam material which can be easily compressed, and forms a continuous surface which fills substantially all the gaps in the stones 1, and makes the molten adhesive layer 7 substantially plane. The combining sheet 24 is pressed on the stones 1 by a pressing head 18 on a pressing table 17, and the cover layer 20 is removed. In this way, the stones can be strongly bonded by the self adhesion layer 9 only by inserting the combined stones into a proper dent part. |
