<p>Apparatus for distributing granular, pulverulent or liquid fertiliser has a distributor (4) with sloping sides to promote flow to a mixer at the bottom. The mixer has a stainless steel shaft mounted in bearings and carrying five sets of blades, succeeding sets being 90 deg. out of phase with the previous set. The shaft has a pinion at one end to to receive a belt driven by a pinion on a tractor. An opening across the width of the distributor opposite the mixer can be controlled by a plate (32) by menas of a handle (40). The mixture released through the opening, passes to hoppers (26) and flexible pipes (29) for discharge to the ground adjacent the plough blades.</p> |
