The holding bracket is U shaped and has two parallel sides (5). The base of the bracket may be set in a concrete channel (9) or bolted to a plate by means of a vertical through bolt. The sides of the U are closed over to form a loop held together with straps (11). The cable (8) fits inside the loop and the bracket is manufactured from plastics material. The straps (11) are received in a slot in the base of the bracket.
