<p>The feed roller for tree trunks, esp. on multi-purpose machines, consists of a three-part sheathing equipped with grab elements. The roller (10) is made up from a bottom piece (24) linked to its drive mechanism (12), spring element on this piece, and row of ring pieces (20) stacked on the spring element. These form a sheathing unit for a roller, with an elastic quality in the radial direction (D) to the roller. The spring element can comprise a number of bar-shaped elastic units in the roller axial direction, with sides in elastic moment-transfer contact with base piece and ring pieces.</p> |
