The buoyancy aid helps a swimmer to float on the surface of the water. It consists of a ball with a fixture for a first and second identical strap joined together by a connection in the form of a non-corrodible chain. The ball is made of a material similar to plastics with a hollow or foam-filled interior which is sealed to be watertight. Each strap is in the form of a soft sleeve with a detachable clasp for fixing to the legs of the swimmer. |
