The rotary cultivator has tools mounted on vertical shafts, the tools being centrally mounted. Each lower tool has a horizontal fixing part with inclined radial working sections. Each tool rotor (3) has at least two extended tools (12, 13) which extend on both sides of the shaft (2). They are displaced with respect to each other viewed in the longitudinal direction of the shaft. One tool (17) is fixed to the underside of a support (4) by means of a bolt (18).
