<p>The strip material coiling equipment has a frame (15) to which are fixed one or more spiral guides (19), expandable in the radial direction, there being an inlet opening (16) for the guide, through which the strip material travels. Thus it is formed into a coil in conjunction with the guide. The guide can have a spiral spring, fixed at one end (19A) to the frame, the spring being of constant rate. It can be held under tension by a weight at the free end (21), to keep the tension constant. The spring can be fixed to the underside of a top part of the frame and which forms the underside of the inlet opening.</p> |
