The present invention relates to a structure of a fuel cell system; and to a control method thereof. Especially, the structure of a fuel cell system comprises: a flow rate sensor checking the flow rate of air supplied to the fuel cell system; an air compressor which compresses the supplied air and has an airfoil bearing to maintain operating rotation speed which is equal to or greater than minimum operating rotation speed; and a flow rate control means connected to the fuel cell system. Accordingly, the air compressor provided with the airfoil bearing secures durability and wear resistance, and also the supply of excess air is restricted or the excess air is recirculated. Therefore, air is supplied according to air rate required by the fuel cell system so the fuel cell system including a stack is prevented from being dried out due to the supply of excess air, thereby securing enhanced product quality and safety. |
