<p>A removable, knock-down partition assembly for use in a bottle-carrying container. The partition assembly has a main partition and secondary partitions. The secondary partitions are rotatably connected to the main partition for movement between a first, knock-down position where they lie substantially flat against the main partition and a second, set-up position where they are substantially perpendicular to the main partition. Means are provided for locking the partitions in the second position. The means for connecting the partitions together comprise a slot in the main partition for each secondary partition, a socket at the bottom of each slot, and a pivot pin on each secondary partition insertable into the socket when the secondary partition is inserted into a slot. The locking means comprise a locking tab on one edge of each slot, and means on the tab for retaining the secondary partition substantially at right angles to the main partition. The edges of each slot are slightly laterally offset to opposite sides of the body of the main partition, the retaining means on the tab retaining the secondary partition against the offset edges when it is in the second position.</p> |
