<p>This lock locking and unlocking is intended to guarantee sufficient locking even when a vehicle door is not completely closed. In the event of a careless closing operation, a rotary bolt (25) arranged on the upper door edge assumes a safety position, in which the door is not yet closed, but is already sufficiently locked. A push rod (15) guided in the door and, in the locking position, projecting into the door frame (10) is displaced upwards over a part of the closing stroke under the effect of a spring (22), a first control edge (28) of the rotary bolt (25) bearing against a first flattening (30) of the push rod (15), thereby ensuring the safety position. After the closing movement has taken place completely, the first control edge (28) bears tangentially against the circular circumference of the push rod (15) located in the end position, with the result that the locking position is reached. <IMAGE></p> |
