PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for a write time of position reference information and to reduce the wait time at switching by an information converter by forming a position reference for fixing a base of an information recording disk in a prescribed relation of position with positioning reference information of the information converter and arranging the information recording with a prescribed relation of position with respect to its drive shaft. CONSTITUTION:A deviation between the drive center of positioning reference information and the drive center of an inner circumference 30 of a disk base in an information recording disk 10 storing positioning reference information of an information converter is smaller than a half the repetitive unit length of the position reference information of the information converter in the radial direction. Thus, the information converter is immediately and accurately positioned to the object recording track and override to an adjacent recording track does not take place. Thus, it is possible to reduce the re-positioning operating time at the changeover of the information converter or the time of rotating angle waiting.
