Electric machine assembly method - by placing rotor within stator having resilient inserts preassembled and bent down to core by ropes

The assembly method for an electric machine comprises the steps of passing at lests two ropes through radial ventilating ducts arranged within slots of a core of a stator and attaching one end of each of the ropes to the top of resilient inserts. The inserts are mounted on slot wedges extending into an air gap defined by the stator and a rotor. The next step is bending the resilient inserts toward the core of the stator. The slots of the core have a winding disposed in them and retained by the slot wedges. The last step is placing the rotor within the stator of the electric machine while the inserts are inclined towards the core.
