Single- or multi-layer partition or building element has elastics, gap-less, coating for bridging the gaps between the components. On the outside of the partition showing the gaps, is an elastomer film esp. of closed-cell polyethylene foam, as interlayer between an adhesive coating upon the outer surface and a reinforced top layer, opt. with a further, structurising, hydrophobic, elastic, decorative, plastering layer. Used as an element in building by prefabrication methods. Gaps are sealed so that they remain invisible even in extreme weather conditions.
