The evaporation system for liquified inert gases uses liq. or gaseous fuel. Large quantities of inert gases are produced without deicing of the heating surfaces. The evaporator system has a burner for the fuel which is arranged within the evaporator vessel. The nozzle projects directly into the inert gas. The gas is supplied by an ejector to the evaporation vessel. The evaporator system is used for generating large quantities in inert gas for extinguishing fires in underground mining galleries. The compressed air for burner is drawn from the mining equipment compressed air supply.
