<p>The piston-cylinder unit is actuated by a pressure medium. It has two pistons (2, 3) on a piston rod, the relative distance of which is externally adjusted. The piston rod (8) contains an adjustment spindle (11), which may be turned by a shaft (24), which is sealed and which passes into one of the cylinder end faces. The spindle is hollow, and the shaft engages co-axially and positively. It carries one piston (2), and runs in an adjustment nut (15) on the other piston (3). The shaft is carried in a bush (26), which is retained sealed in the cylinder head (4), and extends into an outwardly projecting drive shaft end (31).</p> |
