<p>The vehicle loading and unloading ramp has a platform hinging at one end on a fixed ramp, while the other end is raised and lowered so as to rest on the vehicle platform. Below the platform is a hydraulic ram (2) hinging at one end on it and at the other on a fixed foundation. The interior of the ram cylinder (4) is connected via a valve (7) to a hydraulic tank (5), the valve shutting off the connection between the two in the event of a sudden load. The tank can be connected to the bottom (8) of the ram cylinder (9), both the bottom and the adjacent tank wall (10) having a drilling through them (6).</p> |
