Heated garment, esp. for divers, with flexible elements - which are woven from braided metal ribbons and reinforced elastic threads

The conductors are pref. thin ribbons of aluminium or aluminium alloy foil, braided together. To give elasticity the ribbons may be woven together with elastic threads or filaments. A web of three metallic ribbons woven with four elastic threads and a reinforcement, may be arranged zigzag to form a panel, and three panels may be fitted for the trunk and arm zones; each panel being formed from an element 4.5m long with each strand having a resistance of 15 ohms. The garment provides flexibility for the weaver.
