<p>A filter, esp. with a filter housing contg. bag filters, has the outer walls of the housing detachably connected to the main frame. The connections between these outer walls and main frame are provided by clamping elements; these clamping elements bear against the outer, peripheral region of the wall and firmly clamp it onto the frame. Pref. the clamping elements are of angle or strip section fixed by bolts to the main frame, these bolts being located outside the edge of the wall. Seal elements may be provided between the turned-back edge of the wall and the main frame element. The walls can be rapidly assembled and dismantled without the need to completely undo large numbers of bolts passing through holes in the walls.</p> |
