<p>An endoscope with an optical fibre bundle viewing system, a camera and a cassette film, includes a camera control system at the control end. This includes a shutter operating mechanism designed for easy operation without movement of the control end, which could adversely affect performance. The mechanism includes an operating button (12) and a shutter control system (28). The latter includes an operating plate (39) which actuates a switch (67) after another switch (57) has operated. The first switch operates a normally closed shutter and after a time interval, the second switch operates the second shutter which is normally open. The first switch (57) has a pivot arm (41) which initiates this sequence.</p> |
