Keyboard attachment to simplify composing machine operation - has rows of keys corresponding in number to type disc symbols

The auxiliary unit attachable to existing composing machines is designed to simplify operation and create less demands of the user. The frame (1) and ousing (2) rigidly attached to it are firmly but releasably coupled to the composing machine. The housing incorporates a keyboard with e.g. three rows of keys (3) whose number corresponds to the number of symbols (d) in a type disc. Each key has a stop lever (4) which becomes locked in position when its key is depressed and interacts with an extension part (6) until the composing process activated by the key switch takes place.
