<p>The height adjustable table for caravans comprises a table top at normal height which can be lowered down level with bench seating to form a bed base and for this purpose the table legs are swivel mounted at one end on the table top and at the other on the floor or a leg support. The legs are in the form of an elbow lever (7, 8, 12) having two interconnected arms with the swivel axes (6, 11 and 14, 19) of the lever running parallel to the plane of the table top and forming an angle with each other. The swivel axes of one of the levers run at right angles to the swivel axes of the other. The stability of the table in the raised position is thereby increased since there is a lever axis to take up both the longitudinal and transverse forces.</p> |
