A compact gear chain is used for controlling the two final limit positions of an electric motor. The motor (1) is situated to one side of an overall casing (9). It drives an output load drum via reduction gearing and a worm drive. The shaft (4) carrying the worm drive is continued through the casing in parallel with the motor axis and carries two cogged sections (26) which in turn drive two pinions (19) which move up and down its length as the motor runs. The two pinions which can be independently set in position, bear on electric switches (30) once the motor has run to the required stop position.
|
