The forage wagon has a release device with a feeler for automatically opening the flap. A movable inlet barrier (20) is mechanically connected with the outlet flap (12) that it shuts off the inlet opening when the outlet flap (12) is open and releases it when the outlet flap is closed. The inlet barrier (20), with a horizontal inlet opening consists of a carriage (20) which is provided with rollers (22) anc can move horizontally. A fixed expulsion device is used to push material on the carriage (20) into the trough (10).
