PURPOSE:To provide a wire-cut electric discharge machining apparatus, in which means is provided for detecting change in electric resistance developed between wire resistance measuring terminals that are located on opposite sides of machining section of wire electrode, whereby it is enabled to detect whether concentrated electric discharge is caused or not, irrespective of the thickness of workpiece. |
