发明名称 STABILIZED DYES
摘要 <p>1496506 Stabilizing photographic dyes to visible or ultraviolet radiation EASTMAN KODAK CO 29 Nov 1974 [29 Nov 1973] 51832/74 Heading G2C [Also in Divisions C4 C5 and D1] A dye (as defined below) is stabilized to visible or ultraviolet radiation by adding to the dye a chelated-metal quenching compound having its longest wavelength absorption peak bathochromic to the longest wavelength absorption peak of the dye and, in the presence of the dye, providing a quenching efficiency greater than 1À0, the chelatedmetal quenching compound having one of the Formulae: or in which M is a nickel, cobalt, copper, palladium or platinum atom, X and X<SP>1</SP> are each independently a sulphur or oxygen atom, Cat<SP>+</SP> is a monovalent or polyvalent cation and A represents a group: in which R is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group and R<SP>1</SP> and R<SP>2</SP> are each independently a hydrogen atom, a phenyl or substitute phenyl group, a nitrile or an alkyl group. The term 'dye' refers to radiation-absorbing compounds which may appear uncoloured or coloured when viewed by the human eye in sunlight i.e. including fluorescent brighteners and dye-forming couplers. The dye may be dissolved in an organic solvent dispersed in a hydrophilic colloid layer and be part of a photographic material e.g. contained in a layer of a photographic colour material which may be a colour transfer colloid transfer material, silver salt diffusion transfer or an imbibition transfer material.</p>
