5,6-Dihydroxy aminotetralol compounds

Novel aminotetralol compounds of the formula <IMAGE> wherein Z1 and Z2 are hydrogen or an alkyl group and R1 is a substituted acyclic hydrocarbon group or a cyclic hydrocarbon group, and their pharmaceutically acceptable salts, have excellent pharmacological activities such as strong bronchodilating activity or beta -adrenergic blocking activity. They are useful as medicines, for example, for treatment of asthma or arrhythmia.
