Feeder, which supplies steel rod in the mfr. of bundle clamping elements for prestressed concrete. The rod travels between the groove peripheries of two pairs of disks, which are synchronously driven to apply the feeding force. The lower disks (a) are each mounted on a driven shaft fitted with a gear (a1), whereas the upper disks (b) are each mounted on a rocker level (c) fitted on a shaft carrying a gear (c) driven by gear (a1). Each gear (c) drives another gear nd) which rotates a gear (e) fitted on the shaft carrying disk (b); and lever (c) can be moved to adjust the gap between disks (a,b) in each pair while gear (e) remains in contact with gear (d). A motor and chain are pref. used to drive disks (a).The gap between disks (a,b) in each pair can be adjusted to suit the dia. of the steel rod without disturbing the smooth driving force moving the rod.
