PURPOSE:To prevent the stain of a copy by incorporating a compd. having a specified structure into a toner. CONSTITUTION:An oxidized polymer of an aniline compd. and a colorant are incorporated into a binding resin. The aniline compd. is an aniline deriv. having substituents on the arom. ring of aniline and/or the N atom and a compd. represented by formula I is preferably used. In the formula I, R<1> is H, alkyl, alkoxy, aryl, aryloxy or amino and each of R<2> and R<3> is H, alkyl, phenyl or aryl. When the resulting toner is used, the stain of a copy and the deterioration of the quality due to continuous copying can be prevented. |
