<p>The device has a collection tank (1) into which mixed-together bottle tops made of metal and plastic are filled. The bottle tops are guided between two crushing rolls (5a, 5b) which compress all the tops flat. However, in this case only the metal tops remain permanently flat whilst the plastic tops, because of their elasticity, assume approximately their original shape again after passing through the rolls. In a rotating sorting drum (10) with longitudinal slits, between which only the pressed-flat metal tops can emerge, the plastic tops are then fed to a discharge channel (20) whilst the metal tops fall into a collecting trough (15). The sorting of the tops thus takes place automatically, separated according to material, so that the device can form the first element of a system for reclaiming plastic. <IMAGE></p> |
