The high security lock uses three sliding bolts and three hinge-reinforcements. The bolts enter sockets in the frame and locate on the top, bottom, and non-hung edges of the door. The hinge-reinforcements may comprise projecting dowels, which also enter sockets in the frame. The bolts are housed in the door and extend to attach to a rotatable plate. The plate may be rotated by a cam which is mounted on the spindle of a conventional piston-lock. The cam may also operate a ratchet mechanism which secures the bolts in the rest position. The cam may have diametrically opposed projection which displace a lever-ratchet and engage a notch in the plate. Progressive rotation of the cam rotates the plate causing axial displacement of the bolts.
