<p>The atmospheric pressure gas burner, esp. for water heaters, has a trumpet shaped outlet (1) for the gas-air mixture with a dished cover (2) supported by spacers to produce an annular gap, as in 1900613. It is now proposed that these spacers (5) take the form of tongues extending from the middle of C-shaped flat clips (4) fitting into radial slots around the peripheries of outlet and cover holding them together. Slots are dimensioned to permit relative expansion, contraction. Tongues, and clips also, may be inclined to radius to deflect gas flow.</p> |
