<p>The collecting tank for waste water is used in a central heating system with heat pump. The heating system draws heat from the waste water. The waste water is efficiently handled by collecting system and can deal with sudden surges of large quantities of waste water. The collecting tank (1) has storage chamber (8) and draining chamber (9). These chambers are connected by an overflow and lifting siphon (10). The latter is an inverted U tube with one leg in the storage chamber and other one in the draining chamber. This tube bridges the partition wall between the chambers and tube horizontal part is situated below the overflow level. The siphon tube has a closing flap (11) and air supply valve (13). The closing flap in the draining chamber is controlled by a thermostat.</p> |
