The wet steam dryer has also superheater for dryed steam. The plant for this purpose has uniform temperature which eliminates thermal stresses and distortion of the vessel walls. The steam pressure drop is kept low. On top of the corase separator (2) are arranged superheater elements (4) together with their upstream separator elements. The superheaters are arranged around a channel concentric with the coarse separator. The superheater and separator elements are inclined relative to the vertical axis of the accommodating vessel (1). The combined elements incline inwards at the top. The inclined arrangement reduces markedly the velocity of steam which in turn reduces pressure drop.
