<p>The compressed-air supply system produces very dry and clean air, being partic. for operating air-blast switchgear etc., and having a compressor and a drier for the compressed air, together with regeneration equipment for the drier. The drier has drying chambers before and after the compressor, the one before it contg. the regeneration space. The two chambers are connected together via a non-return valve and a throttle baffle, and they and the space are heated by a heater plate. The after-chamber has a pipe near the plate for intensive heating of the compressed air.</p> |
