The double sleeping bag has a bell-shaped flap sewn onto the top half of the opening. The length of the inner circle of the flap is the same as that of the seam along the top half of the opening. If the two occupants move apart during sleep, the opening formed between them is closed by the flap, thus preventing escape of body heat.
