1491488 Valves DANFOSS AS 6 Dec 1974 [10 Dec 1973] 52986/74 Heading F2V [Also in Division F1] In a cut-off valve for the fuel feed to an oil burner the closure member 42 is carried by a support 31, which is biased by a spring 33 towards the seat 37 and is covered by a diaphragm 32 to respond to the pressure in chamber 35. The closure member 42 is movable relative the support 31 to give a snap action to opening and closing by the fluid pressure in chamber 35 acting against the bias on the closure member, which is compressed by the spring 33 acting through a cup 47, a reaction ball 46 and a lever 45. The diaphragm and support also actuate a pressure regulating valve closure member 23 via a pin 29. In a modification the closure member 42 is formed by a resilient pad fixed to the support. |
